How Much Matcha Should I Use?

Matcha tea is getting very famous among people from all around the globe due to its numerous benefits and amazing effects on human health. Matcha tea is basically a refined form of green tea which differs from regular green tea in its making method only. It is made from green tea leaves by crushing the green tea leaves so that it takes the form of a fluffy powder and can then be used to make tea. The major difference between these two types of green tea is that the normal green tea is consumed after boiling the tea leaves in hot water whereas in case of matcha tea the actual green tea leaves are being consumed by the people instead of just their aroma mixed with hot water.

This does not indicate that people can simply consume green tea leaves and consider it matcha tea. When the green tea leaves are dried up they undergo a different process. When matcha powder is made the leaves of the green tea plant are covered with shaded clothes before they are harvested so that they develop a different flavor and texture as compared to normal green tea leaves.
The leaves of the green tea plant are hand-picked by people on farms and they are then steamed so that the leave fermentation can be avoided and they can be delivered to the users in their best forms. Then these leaves are placed in a cold storage to age some more and after completion of all these basic steps they are ground in the form of fine powder known as matcha powder.
The health benefits of matcha tea are so wide and numerous that it helps people in dealing with a lot of health issues. Some of the key benefits include relieving stress, reduce risks of heart attack, relaxation of mind and body, and reduce the risk of cancer, strengthening of mind and body and activeness of mind in addition to various other health benefits. The matcha tea is also used in meditation centers because of its amazing health benefits.
The amount of caffeine contained in a single cup of matcha tea is equal to 70 mg and as compared to that a single cup of coffee contains around 100mg of caffeine. As in case of matcha green tea the raw leaves of green tea tree are consumed which makes it more powerful as compared to the normal green tea. This fact hence proves that this matcha tea must not be consumed as much as normal green tea is consumed.
The approximate amount of caffeine which can be consumed in a single day by an adult is equal to 400 mg. This proves the fact that it is safe to drink as much as around five cups of matcha tea in a day. This will help the consumers from suffering from any kind of side effects caused by consumption of matcha tea. The matcha tea must be consumed in the morning and early afternoon.
